I have a scene being built in the Instancing Preview version of Octane, where there are many objects with many materials specific to each object. It would be great to be able to group an object and all of its related nodes into a single "Collection" node so that the work area does not get incredibly cluttered. Then, the output pin of this Collection node can be connected to a GeometryGroup node along with all the other Connection nodes.

As I've stated many times we need a generalized node container with the ability to set an arbitrary number & type of input & output pins. This would help organizing any set of nodes.

Much better idea!
