Hi, im trying to render an airplane, the daylight mode generate the perfect light and shadow, but i need to add a reflection on the cockpit, but i cant find an option to do id, im gonaa add a picture of the render, its just a reference, we are doing a new short in the office and i want to render the jet shot in octane.

I make the cockpit a glossy, but doesnt work (the background image was added in PS for a preview in the office), the idea is create the scene wit the jet movement, render just the jet in octane and the clouds in maya or vue, but if i use daylight, i cant add a reflection texture, and if i use hdr, i have the reflection but not de light and shadows.steveps3 wrote:Just make the cockpit a glossy material.

Yes. You are stuck with Sun & uniform blue reflections or HDRI without expressed shadows. It's not possible to combine the two in OCtane. HDR + Sun is the most wanted feature request since ever.
