We can provide png images if you have to recompress them for Octane gallery, but for display on the web, jpg are better supported by any browsers. I upload JPG images made with compression at 100% of quality, and I don't see any noticeable difference with PNG on my screen. PNG seem to not display in Internet Explorer, so some people may not be able to see them.

Its the other way around, Internet Explorer seem to not display PNGPNG seem to not display in Internet Explorer, so some people may not be able to see them

Seriously, PNG are made for web, even better optimized than jpegs

I have just tested by uploading a png image on my own website, and I can't see it with IE7.
If I upload in PNG, I can't see my own images !
It is perfectly displayed with Firefox. I don't want to update to IE8, but I would be interested to know if it works, if someone can test...

For corporations that use outdated intranet tools, and doesn't have money for R&DMaybe Internet Explorer is the only browser not made for the web... Made for what else ?

Lincoln 1962 Convertible - Title : On the beach by night.
As my scene with the airplane was really to heavy to get what I had in mind, I decided to work on something else. I'm almost sure that someone will say 'it is dark!", but it is a night.
@gk and Radiance : I noticed that images are seen darker when viewed on the page of the forum through the Internet browser than the original is actually. So, before saying that it is too dark, please download the image by a right click and look at it in a image viewer.
In this new scene, I have reduced the subdivision levels to 1 on each part of the car, and removed all not visible parts to keep the amount of memory below 50%.
10032 samples per pixel - Rendered in 00:32:03 - 739458 triangles - 220.1/511 MB used.
Directlighting - Lit by the daylight system - Only one hot pixel removed
Usually png don't display on my browser, but this one is visible. I think that it depends on the software used to create the png. Well I upload png and jpg formats to be sure.
All Models and textures done by me. The sand on foreground and the background are one unique texture mapped on a folded surface. I used a bump map for the ground and an alpha map for the background, to get some light of the environment lighting passing through the set to get more light coming from some buildings windows.

ROUBAL Nice atmosphere you get in that car image, I like it!

The car looks great. Nice material settings. To me it looks more like dusk or dawn as the nighttime sity in the background doesn't seem to relate to the color of sky/light reflecting on the car. That is normal if the sun is just coming up/going down at the right time where the city in the background is still shrouded in night. My 2 cents.
