A complete IOR list
You can use the indices in this list in the specular material node for things like glass or liquids. The values for metals are not useful because it doesn't include the K values.

WOW! awesome find, now to combine both to produce a dropdown list and all would be great.

Is N and K option possible to implement in the plugins (i.e Maya)?

cheers.

I don't know if it's 100% accurate, but looks realistic to me.
Especially in Path Tracing or PMC.

Would still like to know if these material settings will, or can be available in maya?

cheers.

Any news on whether the N and K etc. are available in the plugins?

Can you point us in the direction of a list of K values?
And is this N and K value available, or possible in the plugins?

I think there's an N and K value in the Maxwell render engine too.

Would be super cool if this is possible in the plugins?

Updated the script — fixed bug where the metal had the wrong falloff after loading a scene and added icon.

The script was broken in 3.0 alpha 8 because the P_SMOOTH pin was removed from the gradient texture node.

Attached is the new script.
