feature request: dump vram to disk, continue rendering later

Whats going on? Months of silence. At least there is 2.24 with minimal changes. Are you fine guys? Say something.

So if i got that right, we can stop the rendering dump the file on hdd and tomorrow or any day/time we want continue rendering from that sample level ? Just liek Worley Labs - FPRIME rendering allowed that ?

Great feature, good work getting this added!

Twas good in FPrime, render animation to low level - import to AE, edit, while the frames kept baking in the background, then update footage.
