IES files
Have I confused myself successfully? I was under the impression, Octane can load .ies files as image texture to create IES emission lights? Or did I dream that up? The open file dialog for an image texture node in blender octane does not list the .ies files, though.

Hi voon, nice to see you again.
You need a Floating image connected to Distribution.
I don´t really understand how the Transform work but work, kind of.
Cheers, mib

OK, you have to disable "Filter" in file browser to see the IES files.
The symbol looks like a funnel.

Hi voon,
does it really work for you? I had issues all the way since Version 2.
I figured out that you had to put a xyz projection node to Projection and play with the ies texture´s gamma to get to an "ok" result.
But I still don´t really get the result i want. IES are handled different since v1.5
regards
