We have created an internal ticket to investigate implementing this feature like we have in SOP.

Any ideas how to save an Octane Material created in Houdini to the Local/Live DB? Saw a post from 5 years ago stating that it was possible to ALT+Left Click over the IPR window, which would open up the native Octane node editor and the material could be saved from there. This doesn't appear to ...

Just checking back. Would really love to see Open Image Denoising implemented for all denoised AOVs in Houdini/Solaris as soon as possible, since it is much faster than Octane AI denoising and yields better results. Hoping so much. Thanks OTOY for all your hard work!

Open Image Denoising for all Denoised AOVs in Houdini
I'm just wondering when we'll see a full implementation of Open Image Denoising in Octane Houdini/Solaris. Right now we can only output the denoised beauty AOV pass, any other denoised passes (diffuse direct, etc.) come out blank. Would love to have this feature soon, as it yields better results ...

That's the issue, it wasn't happening on a regular basis. Sometimes the lights were working just fine and other times I would alter just a simple parameter, causing a light to not work at all. I wonder if it has something to do with having a light mixer wired into the chain elsewhere?
