Re: No CUDA devices available

Update: I should have mentioned that I'm also using a Quadro K600 for display. I've reinstalled both the GTX 320.18 and the Quadro/Tesla 320.00 drivers.

I removed the Tesla just to see if that could be causing a conflict. Still no CUDA GPUs available in octane. Please help!

Re: No CUDA devices available

All are showing up with no errors. I have a GTX 780, a Titan and a Tesla K20 in this system in order to run some benchmarks. I know this is an odd config and there may be a conflict with the GTX/Tesla drivers but I swear I've done this before without any issues.

Thanks

No CUDA devices available

Hello,
I'm trying to run some benchmarks on my machine. I have 4 GPUs in the system. I have the latest octane build and the latest 320.18 NVidia driver. In octane it says no CUDA GPUs and nothing shows up in preferences under CUDA devices.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Joe

octane running on 8 GTX 580s

Hello all,
I recently finished testing octane on one of our 8 GPU servers and thought I'd share the results with the group. Saw some very fast render times and also noted how well the performance scaled up to 8 GPUs. I've been testing many GPU renderers lately and octane seems to be the only one ...

Re: can't access all available GPUs

i switched over to beta 2.46b and everything seems to be working fine including proper performance scaling across all the gpus.

can't access all available GPUs

Hello all,
I'm trying to test my system with 8 GPUs. When I go to preferences>CUDA devices the option to add additional devices is greyed out. I have 1 active device and 7 inactive. Any thoughts? I'm wondering if it is a CUDA driver version issue perhaps.

Thanks

8 GPU system Benchmarking

Hello All,

In about a week or so I'll be getting an 8 GPU system for internal testing and benchmarking here at RenderStream. I plan to benchmark most of the main GPU renderers including octane. I plan to see how the renderer performs in an 8 card configuration, as well as looking at how well it ...
