Yes of course. It works only for standard render engine at the moment.
Anyway we are working on Octane versione, and I think it will be very interesting specially in the part dedicated into paint and build custom HDRI maps

yes of course I activated the plugin, I use c4d r13 studio, I have the same problem when i try to render scene "instance-grass1" of the sample scene zip.

ihave just bought octane, I have a i7 3990k, gtx680 4gb , 16gb ram.
I know gtx680 is not the best with octane at the moment but when i load a demo scene downloaded from otoy site is scene not appear and i see this message: gtx 680(failed) - i'm downloading cuda 5 at the moment.
