Can't you use render layers?
Set the box's layer ID to 1 and the sphere to 2, then enable Render layer for Layer to in Render settings.
Or is it more complicated what you want?

One option which has not been mentioned, is to export your final scene in the plugin to an orbx and use that one to finish the render in Octane standalone with the denoise option enabled.

Yes in poser 11 i was runing xenon version…which is this year version….something has broken either with registry or with previous version leftouts of poser

Python was changed in Poser 12 (updated to Python 3.7) so the plugin was updated to that version. Location of Poser has changed as well. So ...

I do not think so - my HDRlightstudio version is from 2013. I never upgraded after that.
Did the latest version work before the last plugin update?

I have HDR LightSturio v4.0
It is installed in Program Files/Lightmap/HDR Light Studio v4.0

The Octane logfile shows it finds it and starts it.

I have tried to find if there is any preference.comfiguration file where that location is kept, but I couldn't find one.

i judt bought studio licence and nothing..still the same...dosnt play..same message...i thought it was a demo version issue...but its not

The problem is that the folder name is wrong - Not sure when it change, but I think it was from ...
