I have a light in my scene using blackbody emission and the bloom effect is showing up in the render, but it is not on in the Octane Settings panel. If I go into the Settings, and turn on Bloom, or change it's power, etc. it does nothing.

I can confirm that the crash happens on both my machines. The aforementioned Mac Pro and my MacBook Pro Retina 15". Same actions, same crash happens.

Just tested using an older version (3.05.1) and the same crash happens.

You're not Option-clicking the neon lights layer, you're just clicking it. If you Option-click it, both dots change at the same time.

However, it doesn't appear to be crashing on your system. If it still doesn't crash when you Option-Click, what else can I do?

1. Open the Live Viewer Window for Octane in C4D
2. Option-click the visibility of the layer highlighted in green (neon lights’ layer) and set to off (both dots red) (see attached screenshot), C4D will crash every time.

What kind of texture do you have on material? Try without it.

Just tried that, it still crashes when I have the Live Viewer Window open and option-click the layer visibility of one of the layers. The issue is repeatable on machine and deleting the material from ...

I'm getting constant crashes whenever I turn off a layer in C4D with the live viewer open. Sometimes it crashes just C4D, sometimes the whole machine goes down. I have 32gb of RAM in Mac Pro dual Xeon 2.26 (early 2009).
