Hi,
To be honest, I'm not even sure if this feature is exposed in the plugins yet. Do you know what happens with Standalone if you try to render a huge scene? You could try to export it from Houdini using the scene exports functions.

I put NVLINK to test and it seams that octane crashes when I hit the VRAM capacity of one card - is VRAM pooling one of the features?
I simply created high-poly geo ... do you have any better idea to test if it is working, pls?

got it! Sorry, I tried to save it from IPR - render to disk option is working like charm ;)

so it is not working for me then ...

in settings - IPR as MPlay
in ROP
☑ save image files after aborting the rendering
☑ output image files
$HIP/Desktop/test/test_$OCTANE_PASS.png
PNG 8

it should work, am I right?

only one thing I can't do - save render passes when aborting render - or how I am supposed to abort it exactly? Sorry, it is something trivial but I can't figure it out

Houdini 16.0.557 + Octane_3.06.0.0_TEST2_Houdini_Win64_vr is crashing when trying to create RenderTarget in shop or by icon in shelf
15944: Fatal error: Segmentation fault (the number is different every time)

Could you advise me what version should I use, please?

yes, it is working well but I don't know how to save passes on the fly . How is that possible?
so you need to know the exact value of max. samples, test it before final render - it is slow when you are doing just concepts
also you would like to do tests 1:1
