So I'm thinking about a new license, but do not really see the difference between Enterprise+AA($619+$199/y) and Subscription AA ($199/y).
Can somebody advise me what option should I choose for my 7x1080 rig assuming I want to have future updates?
As I see both options can handle 7GPUs. So what are ...

Re: OctaneRender 4 / All Access - Update FAQ
1) For v4, our monthly subscription, OctaneStudio allows 20 GPUs.
5) Should be able to open up the files regardless if they are subscriptions or enterprise.
6) Hm, can you rephrase this one for me?
1) Is that is to be changed? Or what are the pros of having enterprise over OctaneStudio?
5 ...

Re: OctaneRender 4 / All Access - Update FAQ
Hello.
I took some time to read it through, and want to make sure I understand everything right, as the subject is very confusing.
Please let me know if I'm right/wrong in any following:
1) The only way to use 2+gpu is to have an enterprise license($699).
2) The only way to have updates to "1)" is ...

Re: Octane Cinema4d dev need help
«It's the hardest integration» — they said... so why only Ahmet is doing the job?
I'm sure, he works hard, but there's a limit of one person's resources. I do not see another reason why we wait for an update for so long...
Isn't this a shame?

Re: Volume renderpass issue
[quote="aoktar"]Thanks for detailed report but, you look like missed the first rule of working with passes.

Re: PMC Bottleneck: 2x1080=7x1070?
It seems, like E5 2609 v3 is too slow CPU for this algo.
I've tested octane on more stable mobo with celeron CPU(Dual-core), and as you can see, graphs became even worse. But, it doesn't matter on PT algo, as it still more than 3 times faster than PC1.

Conclusion:

Also, keep in mind that 9** much hotter than 10**. So think about cooling. If Place them around 8-10cm between (if aircooled)anereton wrote:Got it!

Re: PMC Bottleneck: 2x1080=7x1070?
Tom, Hi,
Can you explain better that concept? I planning to buy more GPU and my Motherboard have 3 slots.
Thank you. : )
First of all, you need to read your mobo manual and see if you have enough lines for 3 gpu to work on x8. if so, you should have no problem with using ribbon cables.

Re: PMC Bottleneck: 2x1080=7x1070?
I've tested with and without multipass.
The situation goes better with render without multipass. The results are 7x 1070 are twice as fast as 2x1080....but it should be 3x fast.
It uses all the cards, but I see big gaps on graphic anyway.
