I tried what you suggested. I setup a torso material and linked it to the torso surface. Then I saved a Material Preset file. I saved my scene and closed DS.

As I said in my first post, I have been deleting the "OctaneRender_settings.oczdb" file. And it's still not saving new materials.

"Load OctaneRender materials from .duf user presets" has been checked this entire time.

The plugin is not saving the materials all the time.

Octane Render will randomly not save new materials to the scene. I have created three separate scenes. This issue occurred with ALL three of them.

Thanks for the 4.05 release. I just found that Octane Render was not reading Poser 11.2's subdivision.
And, this update fixed it. Thank you.

Solved It.

After posting here, I continued to work the problem. When I tried to run the Octane 3.08 Standalone, I received a Digital Signature error. I followed the steps here: https://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=67172 to update my Windows.
