I think I've found my error, I wasn't in fact referencing the local location for vdb's for some of my orbx that I thought I was.
Confusingly this will actually work the first time you import the orbx, but then never again after saving and reopening the project.

Re: vdb placement scale/axis/position
No fix, but I can confirm I see the same file path breaking issue with the Unity Octane version.

Orbx losing reference to vdb
Hi,
Can anyone tell me what the best practice is for using vdb with orbx in unity?
I can get it working but intermittently the reference to the vdb seems to get lost for no apparent reason and I get an error of the form:
Invalid AssetDatabase path: F:\Unity\Octaneproject\Assets/test/orbx/test.vdb ...

Re: OctaneRender 4 / All Access - Update FAQ
Just saw from the facebook page there is now at least some option for a permanent purchase which I appreciate.
Echoing Jonjambons comments as also having bought the 1 year all access - the 3 year upfront purchase price, particularly with a fairly unclear outcome in terms of which version / features ...

Thanks for making such great software
Hi Devs,
Just wanted to say a public thank you for Octane. I've just completed my first render project, an in memoriam image after a family member died recently. It meant a lot to the recipient and as a novice at this I wouldn't have been able to make it without the ability to iterate on renders so ...
