to give a final feedback, it works with Octane Version 2.32.2 (R6), on C4D R16 and R17.

I saw some Video tutorials, where octane can render particles if the "Enable Particles Enginge" Option is enabled. Unfortunately, this seems to work only with the standard C4D Emitter in my case. I assume, that octane 2.x can only render x-particles particles if the "Thinking Particles ...

Hi Ahmed,

again I am asking regarding LiveDB crashes. Since others had the same issue I followed your advice and deleted the respective folder that contains the liveDB data. But Cinema still crashes when opening the MISC category in Materials.
Any idea?
