hello! no there is NO MORE (or even ever!) competitor when you have a maxwell (and future) cards. besides, for what i understand you're software will simply be AWESOME versus what people know from the current Optix plugin
can't wait to test it!

it's seems that it will be a huge improvement vs actual optix 3d renderer.

have you any date of release? is there some beta test planned? also i guess the price will be around 400 euros like other plugins ...

as annouced by Todd_Kopriva Adobe Employee (the after effects guy):
- AE full ray-tracer use nvidia optix 3.x (before 3.6.3)
- this optix library does NOT SUPPORT anything new thant GTX 780 (not 780ti ...
