After some digging and fooling around i found the issue. Avast antivirus is openly hostile towards the program. Once disabled the websites download links also worked ...

On a side note and to clarify the mac download link appears to work fine , also the windows links don't work across multiple browsers.

Same here. When i saw the site and the renderer my heart skipped a beat. Neither the 32 nor 64 bit demo link work though. I get 'this web page is not available.
