Ok this is stupid:
The Nvidia control panel popped up and told me to update my drivers and I being an airhead did as I was told (I suppose they could have told me to do something much worse). This broke Octane, or at least its ability to run.
That was yesterday.
Today Windows 8 told me it needed to ...

To me scary good.
I am VERY new to Octane but if you can just whip up things like this I think I have a future.
You said "spotlight" are you working in ZBrush?

Hya!

Im being told by windows 8 that nvcuda.dll is missing and to reinstall the program, this is just after Nvidia upgraded their drivers for my GeForce GT 650M, the update came out yesterday I think.
Anyhow reinstalling didn't fix the problem.

Any suggestions?

is exactly equal to the old version (version Tomas Pettersson - http://www.drpetter.se/index.html), the only difference is the Pixologic logo;). I'm not very happy about this, I preferred the original design but I also understand that its creator now has a job seriously.
