Re: The White House
@jolbertoquini: Thanks!
@serkis: Thanks too!
Some more angles of the White House, not really happy with them though.
Man I really need that architectural camera :) I don't want to squeeze stuff around in post and having to render overscan for that.

Re: The White House
@smicha: Thanks I'm glad you like it! I have to admit I am not an architect so I am not very familiar with all the specific terms you mentioned. I got a lot of blueprints and detailed photos of all ornaments from the Library of Congress and what I didn't get from there I had to find in night long ...

Re: The White House
@Elvissuperstra007: Why not?
Another one:

Have to see if there's something like an architectural camera available that keeps the vertical lines straight.

The White House
After getting the Titan X up and running I am finally able to get my White House model into Octane :)
Was a lot of fun to play with the nice DOF.
I'm happy to mention that my model was used for the official White House Military Office plaque!

Re: Mi-24 WIP and my first Octane baby steps
@Bendbox: Thanks and yes it's so much better :) TitanZ was fantastic speed wise but as I switched to Titan X for the 12GB for the single GPU I lost almost half of the CUDA cores. Makes me think about getting a second Titan X into my machine :D

Re: Mi-24 WIP and my first Octane baby steps
Found some time for more texture love. I really hope I can get the cockpit ready for the contest, so little time beside my job. But it feels good to have the 12GB of the Titan X now :)

Re: Mi-24 WIP and my first Octane baby steps
i might actually switch to the Titan X which has the 12GB on a single GPU. Just too bad it isn;t as fast as the Titan Z then
