Hello, I am rendering 1000 scatter objects that are glassy cubes containing rooms and getting the following crash:

The error tends to come about when manipulating the camera around the object. I will happily provide more details if the error log does not show an obvious / known issue.

Many thanks!
Crash on scatter, help me understand the error?

Hi,
available VRAM seems not correct, do you have other applications running?
And you are definitely having issues with Nvidia/CUDA driver!
Ok, please try to use the following Nvidia tool:
https://developer.nvidia.com/cleanup-tool
Then, after reboot, reinstall the previous Nvidia Studio driver version.
https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverR ... 730/en-us/
To perform a clean installation, please follow these steps:

ciao,
Beppe

Thank you for getting back to me Beppe.
I followed your steps and I am still getting a crash. But it did so at the moment the path tracing had finished and the denoiser wanted to start.
I am trying to limit what I use in the background but need chrome open for work purposes. Spotify is open as well but apart from that it is just background services.
Here is the new log:

Free VRAM is too low!
Try to decrease polygon counts and use out-of-core for textures.
Use 'render instances' when it's possible.'

Ok, great, the CUDA error is gone!
Also available VRAM is better now, but still not perfect, in fact, you have finished VRAM, with Out-of-core active, and 0 VRAM memory available, so AI Denoiser cannot be performed, you need at least ~450MB of available VRAM to perform denoiser.
Probably if you close Chrome it should work, try to use Firefox instead.
Another trick is to disable the RTX acceleration in c4doctane Settings/Devices panel, to save some memory, if enabled, geometry takes more VRAM.

Beppe
