Hi Octaners,

here is a little from last work of my rendercrew ;).
...interior scene was rendered on 2xgtx480, in 3500 px (for longer side) about 40 hours whit pathtracing...tooo long, almost same as next unbiased engines based on CPU :(
Postpro, some denoise in critical area.
I hope that pmc will be rescue for scenes whit many light sources. Big thanks for it.

Hey, the exterior is really really neat, with a pleasant lighting & color atmosphere.

Did you use real glass with IES emitter inside, for the lamps on the left wall?

I really like the exterior scene. Love the mood!

The interior is strangely flat, somehow not feeling 3-dimensional. I have that problem with large outdoor scenes. Couldn't figure out the reason.

Wow amazing work. Especially the outdoor scene. Great POV and great Sense of lighting. Really like it!
Keep it up!

Maybe it´s the absence of depth haze / turbidity. Normally things get slightly desaturated, blured and bluish with distance (outdoors). This is where a depth output would be of help so you could do this things in post!

Really nice renders!!
I also working on a project these days, some interior views must light up with artificial lights, I cook the pic for more than 4 hours, still too many noise. I finally give up...

I hope Octane could add one feature to DirectLight engine, that is "let light go through glass" so that a super fast and SUPER USEFUL render for interior design ( also for animation ) could be possible :)
