also check your preferences to see if auto start render is checked

A new update for the plugin has been posed at the top of this thread. (4.02.00.06)

A have also made a new DEMO build: Octane Render for Carrara DEMO 4.02

Are we supposed to have access to Brigade through our Carrara Octane?

from the Brigade page...."...and will be rolled into all Octane 4 integrations...."

Brigade is already incorporated into Octane. You don't see it... you just feel it (= faster update).

Actually, I think that Brigade is supposed to have its own selectivity, as we see with Eevee.
The Brigade page indicates as much, I think.

Eevee is really a separate renderer, for both preview and output.

I am glad about Brigade, and look forward to its continued evolution.

Hi Sighman,
Octane plugin worked fine in Windows 7 Pro , but recently I installed a new installation of Windows 10 PRO.
PROBLEM: plugin in loads fine in Carrara but it will not compile any meshes. Both my graphic cards are seen in the plugin and
I've tried with different scenes.
SPECS:
Windows 10 PRO version 1809 64bit
Octane render 4.2.0.6
Octane Carrara plugin 4.02
32 gb ram
Cpu AMD FX 8350
Graphics cards GTX TITAN X 12 gb GTX 7800 6 gb
Carrara 8.5

As you can see my computer is adequate and it compiled fast in Windows 7 PRO.
Could you please help me with this problem. The computer works fine with all my other programs and its
been scanned for viruses and everything is up to date.
