Hi, I've been using the octaneVR subscription for a couple of months now, and since I've only been using the standalone, I was wondering if there is any way to only pay for the octaneVR standalone license and not the plugin.
I'm on a tight budget and would like to know if there's the chance to save a few bucks, that in a year add up to 120$. I could invest them into something else.
So, what I would like to know is: does the octaneVR disappear if I unsubscribe the plugin (blender) one?
Could I then subscribe to another plugin later on?
Thanks!
p.s. would like to point out that in no way I'm complaining about the (great) pricing of this amazing software, I just would like to make sure that this isn't doable.
Standalone subscription without plugin
If you just want OctaneVR standalone, without a plug-in, then that is essentially shipping (for free) inside Unity 2017. I think all of SA is exposed through the Unity integration (which may even support OR node graph editor and other SA UX, similar to Nuke plug-in).
Wow, that's great news! I was just starting to play around with Unity. I hope they make it happen soon because it looks fantastic.
Hopefully unity 2017 gets released in the next months. Thanks, Goldorak.
