I am asking how is possible to play with Octane settings in order to have a fluid response on the viewport...

I am working with 2GPU x rendering and 1 (GTX670) dedicated to monitor.
I have setted "Prioirty LOW" and "Use Pri" on the first GPU as follow:
Device settings.jpg
I have, expecially on heavvy scenes, some lags on viewport.

I've setted also in "Other" section as follow:
Other settings.jpg
Should be possible to have too load with "Octane : Generate material xxxx" jobs?

In that case what do you suggest to set in "Options" window? Here my actual settings:

I have the chanche to share some scenes that seems to have these lags, let me know.

ah ah, Ahmet, you have really a bad imagine of me.. :D
Joking aside, no, this is the first thing that I have checked, the cables are correctly connected.
As the matter of fact is strange to have all this lags... my suspects is that they are related in some way to the material preview...often are present when the message "Octane:Octane : Generate material xxxx" is showed.

:) ok
So i think this is different problem not about LV rendering, not about gpu activities. When a mat preview run on background it hold the main process. Can you test these scenes on latest Alpha? I think it's far better on any aspect.

Thanks!
If you still see similar behaviour please send me a sample scene with a description to reproduce this.
