Hello,
I was able to set up the network rendering in the standalone just fine. I'm able to get all the slave machines to show up in the standalone. But for what ever reason I have all the same settings on the Maya side, I have all the slaves running but none of them are showing up within the network rendering preferences.
Is there something I'm doing wrong on the Maya side?
Thanks!

Network Rendering Maya 2.04 issue.

Hi Juan,
I have a couple of things to try:
1) Make sure you have matched the slave version with the maya SDK version (ie: 2.04 Maya plugin can only use the slave from the 2.04 standalone).
2) Make sure there are no firewalls blocking network access (you may have setup an exception for the standalone but not for the maya plugin).
3) Make sure you don't have the standalone running as a master on the same machine as the maya plugin (this may cause problems because they will try to use the same port and you would need to tell one of them to use a different port).
Disable and re-enable network rendering in the network rendering preferences and wait a minute for it to scan the network.

AWESOME! #1 was it. I was running the 2.0 standalone, I just installed 2.04 on all the slave machines and my own and that worked perfectly they are showing up and rendering!
Thanks again!
