Hello,

I have been in and out with Rhino plug in,
since I am accustomed to stand alone,
but I tested the latest stable build (rhino5 sr11) and noticed that the viewport doesn´t track
with viewport. It is not the same even in the beginning, and gets worse from there.
I did not want to go through this whole topic, forgive me, and I am not in a hurry since
I only checked if the time would be right to chance the workflow.

Any suggestions what might be going on?

Thanks!

Hi Vernon - I'm not completely sure I understand what you are saying. Perhaps you could post a screenshot? Have you click the Vewport Navigation button on the Octane Viewport perhaps? (It's the button with the camera on it).

Hi Paul,

I am not in a position to send a screen shot at the moment,
but to clarify, when I open the Octane viewport, the view angle is not the
same than in perspective view camera (just normal rhino camera settings, nothing done there),
and when I turn the angle in perspective view, the view angle chances in the Octane view,
but not the same way. There is a similarity in the moves, most of the time when I turn right,
everything turns right, not just the same measure. Sometimes the Octane view just jumps
where ever.

This occured with the latest update, but I am sure I have missed few in between, the previous I had
was maybe 2.16 or something like that, and I had no problems like this then.

And, I do use 3Dconnexion 3d-mouse, but it behaves similarly with normal mouse, too.

Thanks Vernon. Can you post a simple scene here pls which demonstrates the issue and I will take a closer look. There have been no other reports of this problem so perhaps is it a Rhino setting causing the issue. But a sending a sample scene will confirm this.

Thanks

I have refreshed the STABLE installer downloads at the top of this thread to release 2.24.1.47 (the current TEST build). Pls see the TEST thread for release notes.

IMPORTANT: The RHI installer will install into a different location to the current installation of the plugin, SO YOU MUST UNINSTALL THE CURRENT PLUGIN prior to installing this new version.

Hi paul,

I have installed the 2.25 version in the winows10 system, finally I have closing the rhinoceros 5 (64bit), the process of computer memory was overflow, stuck unable to move.
And windows 8 64bit was also that, only windows7 works well.

Please Fixed it.

Good days!
