Material override ?

Hi karba

Is there a way to implement a material override in max.
It woud be very usefull to render an AO pass for example.

You mean total material replacement to some single material?

Yes

I could replace all the mat by a white diffuse material and render a DL AO pass easily.
I think it will be a much appreciate feature for 3dsmax users.

yes, but VRAY like : could be cool to override just mtl we choose ;

Can't you just do a clay render?
