OK - is that expected behaviour? It does seem to be slightly less smooth than the previous stable version but maybe that's my perception rather than reality

I need to understand that we are talking about what! In plugin processes it cannot be less smooth than 3.05.3. I'm making improvements.fatfreemedia wrote:OK - is that expected behaviour? Yes that's fine! Another trick that i'm testing is for using the Octane's texture caching mechanism.aoktar wrote:fatfreemedia wrote:For the scenes I'm working on it seems to be either as fast as or faster than the stable branch, would you like a log sending over?
Ya..... Very Nice....

C4D R2025 / Win11 / AMD TR WX Series / 256Gb RAM / RTX3090 / 100GbE
Dropping here a new test build with caching system test. It's basically not deleting the loaded images from Octane's storage and it's loading faster on next usages. But It's one day old implementation. Needs to be improved more for possible problems.

For a third time waiting for a response:
Is it possible to be able to navigate in live viewer with custom shortcuts (instead of alt+mouse maybe ctrl+alt+mouse etc etc)?
thanks

No cause of some software limitation or no cause its not ur priority? Plz elaborate on this since i ve already had to post 3 times to get a single no.
No because it's not designed to assign custom shortcuts! I hope that's enough for you.thanulee wrote:No cause of some software limitation or no cause its not ur priority? Plz elaborate on this since i ve already had to post 3 times to get a single no.

Its not actually. Ur attitude and ur tone is annoying, while I politely asked 3 times about this. U been ignoring me and thats unacceptable. If u do not understand that part of ur job description is to reply/explain to each customer (even if u consider him/her an annoying prick) and not selectively as well as equally respond to each request, then something is terribly wrong here.
For the actual request:
U designed it to work this way, its not a standalone feature, its a simple c4d option and i guess (actually i do not guess i asked other devs how hard is something like this) that it would be very easy to implement it. But u choose not to. Have a nice weekend.
