Sorry if I got you wrong, Aoktar:
Didn´t you plan to put an unofficial osx version here? Really looking forward to test my mac workstation here. :-)
THANK YOU.

Hi,
in the last couple of weeks I worked on this project I did for university. I also used turbulenceFD but without the direct support of Octane. BUT great news here! Looking forward for the MacOs version.
Cheers!

Hello and regards!

I wanted to introduce myself and wish you all a Happy 2016, I now have a license for this plugin and am excited to use it and see it's development. I mainly use Daz Studio and am a heavy user of its Octane plugin, and have recently also begun utilizing the Sketchup plugin.
Because I have been involved in the Daz forums, while the Daz plugin went from a really low state to a now much higher state, I am always interested to share thoughts and workarounds I encounter. I am excited to see this plugin developing towards V3. However, I am newer to C4D and probably will be a bystander until I can offer anything more tangible.

In any event, having fun getting TFD to show in octane...somewhat...this is more challenging than Daz Studio and Sketchup for sure!

As Aoktar had said in this post, I had to create an Octane Object tag on the TFD container to give me the V3 Scattering Options, and I can see and manipulate the medium volume, but hard to master, a lot of trial and error!... :P

Anyway, regards, I look forward to reading everyone's posts :)

(Just some frames, didn't render animation.)

Yes but new update is near on sdk and also had to stuggle with latest stable release. Sorry, i think better to wait the alpha3 and provide windows/osx releases together.

That baking looks really interesting. Does it support like all the 'basic' maps like AO, Normal (Tangent & World), et cetera? . Didn't know that was even possible in the new version.

Also, is there in the new version a possibility to render God Rays?
1- Yes it support passes as i can see.
2- Godrays was always here since 1.x. Now having easier setup and faster results with embedded mediums in environments.

Can you tell me how to render godrays? I' ve tried to use a volume but it gives me fog whenever i tweak the settings :(

Hi Ahmet,

thanks for the new Version!

Just a question:
Is it possible to define a certain mesh for the volume-object
instead of the default cube?

And if yes -how?

thanks!
