Can anyone help
How is this static noise. I have static enabled and I dont see a difference from dynamic. This is a crop from blued foreground and it is moving and for cg cartoons it looks terrible . Any plans for 100% static like vray and all other renders have . (this was rendered at 2000 samples more than enough for animation) Thank you

Hi guys! Octane ignored use priority checkbox for me. (

You also have to lower the render priority in the project. The "use priority" option is just for selecting which GPUs should apply the render priority and which not.mikinik wrote:Hi guys! Octane ignored use priority checkbox for me. (

Thanks abstrax. Did not know it.)

What can be a reason for the error? - see the attachment.

Windows response time. It will give the GPU 2 second by default to respond if not it will reset the driver. Do you have a dedicated GPU for the display? If not then that's the reason. GPU is busy with rendering and doesn't chat with good old win anymore.
Thanks! I have plenty of gpus
Now I set one for the display

It would be a great time to unify the diffuse and glossy shaders, It is one of the bottlenecks in working speed to have to assemble mix shader nodes to be able to get translucent materials to have reflectivity... would this be complicated to do?

There is a bug in the Batch Rendering script: unchecking some of the render target is useless, they are all rendered anyway.
