Thank you face, i saw interesting stuff in videos, and apologize me, i have a tecnical question:

Octane render, when will activated like render in XSI, will work also , for example, inside the ULTIMAPPER to bake Ambient occlusion and other components?
Beacuse a GPU task like this should be very usefull and power.

Thank you again!
Regards, Luca.

At the moment all is working good i think.
Will wait on a feedback from the current testers to know it better.

Playing now around with particles and how to catch changes in a pointcloud.

And here a little preview...

I truly appreciate all the hard work going into getting OctaneRender for Softimage to market. I'm a die hard Softimage user. I know it's the Cinderella of 3D apps (it doesn't get the same attention the 2 step sisters get), which is why I'm very excited to see XSI getting some serious attention in the rendering arena.

Would it be possible to get some kind of road map for the Octane beta?
A projected or wish release date? Some more screenshots? Throw us a bone please. :)

While I wait I'm enjoying some the other beta plugins but they're not Softimage. :(
