I am trying to follow this ACES Tutorial:
Better Renders with ACES in Octane in Under 5 Minutes | Greyscalegorilla Tutorial
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4t3qHtwyWcs
But I'm stuck because there is no color management Tab in Octane X.
ACES is listed as a feature on otoy.com:
Octane X further accelerates next generation creative workflows with ACES, OpenColorIO....
So my question is, when it will be possible to use Aces in Octane X / Cinema4D?

Hi all - we are working on a major release for macOS 12 (PR12) and then will move onto to 2021 feature parity with CUDA releases once we get to stable. We will have to drop older GPUs and macOS 11 with this change, so it is something we want to do carefully and has taken a bit of time to set up for release. We are full speed on MacOS - we even have PPM kernel working great on Metal in an internal build, and Brigade kernel (even without RTX) is coming to metal too.
Hello Gold
Please let me know.
Thanks
\you mention that all GPU's will ne dropped with the change to PR12, I do need to ask if you could let me know which ones to avoid as I'm about to press the button on a Radeon GPU and at the going prices it's a big investment.Goldorak wrote:Hi all - we are working on a major release for macOS 12 (PR12) and then will move onto to 2021 feature parity with CUDA releases once we get to stable. Yes, please, could you clarify which "older" cards will be dropped?
I was expecting to have a PR12 for Big Sur, but we´ll have to move to MacOs 12 in order to use it, this does not make me very happy at all as first versions of newer OSs are always buggy and full of changes that might affect workflows (software support, security issues, etc..).
Thanks.

Thank you for your amazing work! I join the request for dropped graphic cards. With their current prices, this is an important concern.

Will the Vega II line for the Mac Pro 2019 be supported in PR12 on macOS 12? Which "old" GPUs are you referring to?Goldorak wrote:Hi all - we are working on a major release for macOS 12 (PR12) and then will move onto to 2021 feature parity with CUDA releases once we get to stable. Will PR12 also bring Cinema4D R25 support? When can we expect OctaneX to be compatible? The current version is not.
