The first beta build of the LightWave 2015 plugin with FiberFX hair rendering support has been released!!!
Check the current daily build, available for Windows x32, x64 and OSX, and remember to share your hair renderings ;)

Juanjo, someone will whip you up a batch of er... hair. ;)

Unfortunately, it won't be me. I can't part with $500 this close to xmas - and I need to wait for new budget in January. Damn. Can't wait.

Happy Thanksgiving! (do they even do TGD in Europe?)

Absolutely amazing work once again, Juanjo :o
I am checking the demo scenes and so far everything seems to work perfectly
And you even already wrote the manual part for this too :o
The live fiberfx geometry update option of course slows a bit but only few seconds for example with animated_deformation scene so it's not a big deal. Maybe I still keep it turned off especially as I don't do much animation. Though the new bullet features in LW2015 are great, hinge, spring etc. so those combined with hair...
Well I can't imagine any REAL use for both in same scene but anyway, NOW I can finally start learning and using FiberFX. It was way too slow with even LW VPR so I never bothered to learn it properly. And now also ZBrush FiberMesh gets whole new dimensions.

Thank you VERY much again!

thanks for this 2015 release: i'll try it with the tryout version for the moment.
Seems to be interesting things with images sequences, the ability to use native Quicktime clips as animated textures maps would be great
