can you try to update your nvidia drivers. I forget to add some note, this version has 750Ti(Maxwell) gpu support. You may need a never graphics card driver.

As I just told you, there is no rule, it can happen suddenly or after several minute I work.
I strongly hope that it will be fixed on 2.0 coming release.
Anyway, thank you for you job!

No, this version has same core with 2.0. I think you have some weird problems, i suppose that has been resolved since we investigated.
Also some people who has problems, could you please keep updated Nvidia drivers and Standalone to same number with plugin. And please be sure, there is no any old files which is related Octane plugin. And some bugreport will be great to help to you.

I'm still having live viewer problems on MacOSX. I open the live viewer, but can't move it anywhere when it's in full screen mode.

I've sent you a scene file Ahmet. Testing newest Version 1.54.1 now...

Thanks for your help.

edit:

Same issues on 1.54.1. Preparing scene mesh geometry and instances stalls, seems like the new enhancements in 1.54.0 is causing some issues with that particular scene...

Any ideas? I'll continue to test.

Random Issue: C4D doesn't respond. It happens when I try to apply a material to an object. Sometimes there's a huge lag between modifying parameters and rendering. I have this problem from 2 releases ago. I think the problem is related to C4D layout on 2 monitors. Are there any conflicts with wacom tablet or 3Dconnexion mouse?

Is your scenes heavy? Looks like a response problem from high usage of gpus.

Could someone test new version? i have revised some part of render instances codes over 1.54.1.

Hi, my scene is quite light, only 100 Mb over 1.5 Gb. Instances (100 mograph clones) are incredibly fast now, and it seems that use less VRAM.
I'm using the new release with only 1 monitor and the standard C4D layout... no freezes or "not responding" issues over 2 hours. (I also checked nvidia multi-gpu setup... 2 separated gpus as suggested, 1 for rendering and 1 for the viewport). Please notice that using only 1 monitor against 2 it's terrible for my workflow. Thanks!

Well, i'm trying to improve instances part. And yes, low priority for viewport gpu will help or try to disable as you did.
I have to mention about "Syncronisation on geo. updates" option. This is different access method to geometry. If you enable it, plugin will get data when opengl buffer is feeding. This allows stabile data, but can little slow down refresh of geometry. Disable option is faster but can cause to see some virtual objects while navigating the viewport. This is just a info for you. I advise use it as enabled.

WTF, sorry, It happened again! I was doing nothing and C4D became "not responding". It's a strange behaviour beacuse it's different from another software that is not responding... I can't quit C4D until I use "force quit tree" from task manager... If I try to quit by clicking on C4D window nothing happens.
Maybe something related to automatic "save - backup" options?

Ok, It did it once again. This time I'm quite sure the problem starts by applying a material to an object. No matter if I drag and drop a meterial on the tree or on the viewport.

can you be sure what's causes this? You said, it happened without doing something.
