Mike, See my post at the bottom of page 2 here: http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=29656miohn wrote: Hi,
looks nice so far, but I have some major problems:
When I add a daylight, I cannot adjust the hight of the sun
and when I try the other method with c4d-sun-tag the changes
does not seam to work.
Also, If I add any new environment (texture or daylight) I loose
my textures. The sphere f.e. had a texture-material applied.
Any tips on this?
thanks
Mike
Create the Sun in C4D first (i.e. don't create a daylight object from the Live viewer window), then right-click the C4D Sun object tag and add the Octane Daylight tag, then it all works.

just one thing if you save your layout and re-open cinema4d the windows where you place your octane windows mark as missing pluging.
look my screen shot. and you need some time to render all texture for the rest is work fine

i'll publish fixes some minor problems, also SAVELAYOUT problem.
can you found in C4D section

Hi!!
I hope this is the right place for my questions.
I am a holder of a license of stand alone and would like to buy Octane Octane render for c4d 11.5, (so I have to wait a while '), for the occasion, I'm building a machine assembled specifically for the GPU render, buy back the full package Octane stand alone + Octane for C4D, or can I transfer my old license to the new machine, so save a bit 'of money?
thanks for your attention and best regards
