Hi, i have a reproducible freeze 1.0 beta2.46b on linux/64.
Scale down the octane window, sliding another window over the octane window => freeze.
This only happen during rendering also with demo suite files.

+1 for me too. Make it optional

Hi,

We couldn't reproduce the bug here. Does the problem persist after reinstalling the driver?

Thanks roeland, i go back to 260.19.44 and the error is still there.
Before i use 270.41.06, what is the newest.
I heard about this error in my german blender forum blendpolis.de where a user test the demo and get this error with a gt 9500.
http://www.blendpolis.de/viewtopic.php? ... 9&start=40

Start octane, load spaceship file, click on resize button, resize octane window manually => freeze

So, is the next version going to unlink from the display driver? I still can't run this on my Quadro 4000 UNLESS I run an ATI card for my screen and then this works with the headless Quadro. It's weird but it's consistent.

To the Refractive software crew: How close are you from providing CUDA 3.2 in Multi-GPU? cause actually I will have my second GTX460 the next week and I can't wait to test Octane Render at full speed, I know you're in a difficult possition right now for what happened with Blender & Cycle but as a Blender user I'm really interest in what is happening in the "Blender world", and I'm getting a little bit sad for what happens in "Refractive Software world", not so often updates, not so often features, I don't know if you already tried Blender with the new GPU rendering but it looks far good, and as a client of you I would like to have the same enthusiam for Octane, but everytime I step on the forum there's a huge lack of information here about updates, and let's face it... is not a good time for secrets, now you have a huge competitor doing similar things for free, maybe is time to show what you're doing and give a nice day to your clients.

The V1.0 2.5 release is the next major one.Probably around 6 weeks or so away.New Major features in this one,not just bug fixes.Hence the delay. This was stated I think towards the front of this thread by Abstrax / Radiance.

That's the plan. Unfortunately I still can't say if this will work fast enough or if we have to go back to OpenGL, since we're not at this point yet.

The fonts in Octane for CUDA 3.2 version are smaller then in CUDA 3.0 version, to the point that text becomes difficult to read. Tested on Ubuntu 10.10 and 11.04
