WOW! Amazing images. [emoji108][emoji449]kcpr-raffaEl wrote:Hi there!
Beautifull images are here!
Here is my submission:
Originally this project is rendered (and finally built) in the middle of town Poznan:

...but so beautifull sunset from Peter encouraged me to place it over the sea
So these images are some kind of light study of OCTANE HDRI lighting.
I LOVE OCTANE for its stability and flexibility, and I'm really impressed with quality of Peters HDRI's.

Hey guys!
Hopefully this uploads and posts in time to make the competition deadline!
I'm a 4th year architecture student from Scotland, and these are three images I produced for my design project which is graded in 12 days. The project is a special needs residential community.
The first image is a house type designed for adults on the autistic spectrum, (but designed to be flexible so it can be sold on the open market). The second image is a communal/commercial building designed on the site, (bakery/cafe), which can provide employment opportunities for the residents in a way that engages with the surrounding residential community. The third image is an eternal view of a street contained within the site.
Obviously it's work in progress, and ideally I would have rendered them at a higher resolution before uploading but I haven't had the time.
Modeled in sketchup, rendered in Octane (standalone) at 4096x2048. I built the brickwork/masonry textures myself from texture maps. Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to use Peter's skies, but I intend to play with them in the next few days!
Please let me know what you think.
Nick.

hi there everyone!
I once saw a photo of this concrete staircase and I wanted to make it since a long time.
Today I finally did it. unfortunately I don't remember the author of this photographic composition and the name of arch project. Maybe someone can help me?
I needed a strong blue color of the sky - the best way for me in this case HDRi - 1941 Dusk Blue.
3dmax + Octane Plugin
best regards,
Alek
little upgrade - This is my interpretation of staircase in Kalmar Museum of Art by Tham & Videgård Arkitekter... of course

Hi there,
ok, hope that I am not to late.... here is my entry.
Not really architectual, but hope you like it.
Used one of the HDRI of the orbx file (1120 Mostly Cloudy Bright Sun_4k.hdr).
Car Model is from viz people, other stuff from over the net. Ocean is Hot4D.
Rendered only at 2200x1237 with 500 samples because of full RAM. Will let it cook over night with my 3GB cards again.
Did some color and curve adjustements in Photoshop.
EDIT / Update:
So finally a high-res version of my entry, 4960x2790.
Did some little improvements.
Ready for OCTANE Surfing
.
