Otoy would do a favour to whole mankind if you´d release lets say two actors in t-pose and with just few basic face morphs, for non profit demo purposes. After those demos, it would be quite easy to find investors and then book some time at the Lighstage studio with actors. It is impossible to explain all this evolution to the potential investors, and tech talk is forbidden anyways to them.. this needs to be seen in VR.
We are on the same page. We will be adding fully rigged generic LightStage data to our store for artists to use, and probably Clay's head to liveDB. GTC will have a few more details.
Also some coverage on CNET of how Octane Render looks in new Oculus app, which they are showing at MWC right now, and GDC this week:
"I looked at a few of the new films on the newest Samsung Galaxy S6 version of the Samsung Gear VR, as well as some 360-degree stereoscopic 3D photos created by Otoy Octane Render, which looked like still-lifes of a 3D reality. These will also hitting the Oculus VR store."
