Sorry but for what we need moonlight?!?!?!?

My first wish (and i hope its on the top 10) is Diffrent Environment.
-When i make a Architecture Render, i need a good Sky and Sunlight!
-For a Produktenrender i need one Reflection-Env., Backgroundenv. and maybe one GI-Env.
and so on.....

I do not understand why this is ignored all the time.

I wish that Octane could function as a default viewport renderer for modeling & navigation rather than a rendering window in an addition to the current viewport(s) In Maya we have viewport 2.0 for hardware rendering which displays smooth and or wireframe mode.

Perhaps a navigation & edit mode switch is needed but still retaining the render abilities ie; ability to view smooth and highlighted with or without quality rendering or wireframe mode or both. I guess this is basically the "on-screen axis manipulators for move, rotation and scale (like any other 3D application)" FrankPooleFloating listed.

OpenDiv with ptex, openvdb, and openexr seems to be essential with the common abilities octane has currently which will open doors for mesh resolution and functions Octane couldn't render before such as volumetric data. If octane is only limited to meshes perhaps somehow a 1 px placeholder of mesh data can link to each ID of volumetric or particle data (perhaps this is beyond my scope of implimentation understanding)

lol Cool!!! +1 mln :D
I think this should be the fisrt thing to implement and the second one is:
"Shared Memory w/ System (auto-enabled when GPU's full - as a contingency)"

I have a simple wish; that the scroll wheel would stop moving sliders when I scroll though the huge amount of node data in the node inspector. An action doing two different things simultaneously in one context is bad design. Couple that with no undo option and you have a nice frustrating GUI Xperience(tm). :)

Seriously, who uses the coarse scroll wheel to move sliders / values?? In any program.

Actually, the middle mouse wheel/btn does that in 3ds max. Thought I agree it is an issue, It not that big a deal. A nice thing would be a the option to turn it on and off or on-mouse-over, but it's not overly important IMO.
