Roadmap ?
Nada ?!
Bye bye ?
I'm very keen on doing the plugin and I will start as soon as time allows. I hope that will be only a matter of a couple of weeks.

Cheers,
Marcus
Marcus... I can't believe it.
A couple of weeks.
Thank you so much. :D

Just to be clear, that's when I will *start* working on it. Unfortunately I don't have a good idea how long it will take until we have something useful, but I will do my best.

Cheers,
Marcus

Yes sorry, I'm late. I'm currently finishing v0.12 of the exporter and am in the middle of adding animated texture export (as far as it is possible with the current export scheme). When that is done, I will release it. Promised.

Cheers,
Marcus

I think would be great if the plugin for octane would understand cinema4d procedural maps (like cindigo), well and of course instance too, without new good working octane-scatter xpresso. Is it possible?
Sorry for my English
Win 10 x64 / amd fx-9590 5.0Ghz / 3xGTX Titan Black 6gb/ 32gb / ArchiСad 19 / Cinema4D R17 / latest Octane.

The export plugin will not be able to do anything like that. For v0.13 I plan to add some helper to export .csv files for the scatter node, but it will still require some manual work.

Again, I haven't started working on the integrated plugin yet, but that's the current plan: The plugin will support instances. Procedural textures using the C4D noises can't be mapped into Octane procedurals, since Octane offers currently only a tiny subset of the noises available in C4D. The only way to be able to export those would be to bake them into textures. But I haven't thought this through yet and am currently 100% occupied with Octane work. I'm doing the exporter development in my spare time.

Cheers,
Marcus

Thank you Marcus!
And hope integrate octane for cinema will not keep itself waiting. I don't like to envy 3ds max and maya users any more... :)
