Preview system is pretty fragile when think the back complexity. I prefer the stability and speed than a few ignored previews. I'll not touch it anytime soon to keep the stability unless having a better solution or solid fixes

thanks for the new release. Unfortunately the denoiser problem under Macos 10.13.6 still exists...
Renderings from octane x and high sierra cannot be combined. While Octane X has the problem of sudden demo mode
the experience under mac is not as good as it could be. In 2020.1 there was no denoiser problem, what happened?

I have still the problem with the toon material on the R2 update. CUDA Error 719 when i lauch de LV.
I use :
- C4D S22.123
- Octane 2020.2.1 R2
- Octane standalone 2020.2.1
- Nvidia driver 461.92 ( I tried with the previous one before too )
- GPU RTX 2070 (notebook)
Here attached screenshot on simple project with a plane and a cube with the toon material with the c4d project if that help .

After some test i see it's the same on Octane Standalone but if i put on the scene an second object with an other material, diffuse for exemple, that's work.

But if i put an third object again with a second material toon, that's crash again.

It's the same thing on standalone and plugin.

Ok i find a temporary solution for toon material.
If you put an environment texture with nothing to simulate black environment, toon shader work normaly.
For the moment octane don't crash anymore.
Other point :
The parameter "power" of the toon point light don't work. i have the same intensity whatever the values.
On the other hand, the directional light "power" work normaly.

We need to have this fixed in the general SDK, and the core devs should have already found and fixed the issue for 2020.2.2 SDK.
