GoZ support is already handled by the plugins. 3ds, Maya, Poser (not sure about C4D and LW) all have GoZ support - so just use ZBrush -> Goz -> Poser/3ds/Maya -> Octane plugin.then a Zbrush plugin or Goz support.

Well this is not a discussion but it is visible a gap between those who are Pro..Pro..Pro..that work with expensive software like Max, C4D, Archicad, etc etc, and those how try to work with what they have or can afford.
For those who are so Pro users I believe some features requested are a bit simple, or even funny (because they exist in plugins). But complete plugins exist for expensive software(max,c4d,archicad,etc etc), when Blender plugin is out I will forget many of my wish list functions, but for now there isn't that option, its model project...export to standalone and work with what I got.
So that why render region, simple animation(place camera 1, 2 and 3, and render),and bach rendering would be nice.
Camera animation and BachRendering, as I said before...not everyone can afford expensive modeling software. (When blender plugin is out....solved)
About Multilight I think you didn't understand...its a feature that allows with ONE render...in post process change light colors and intensity.
Check this video...its One render (that takes a little longer to render) but allows to have multiple images to interact with clients. (I am an architect so its a marvelous function I have used in Maxwell)

I love Octane its a great tool, I love the concept off how it works, and the fact is not so expensive as others, and don't make us have a farm of computers to do realistic images.
But i see that some of you point reasons about this and that software, and not taking in consideration that one of the main reason Octane is so good is the relation between price/performance, because if we take the price(software plus hardware) from the equation ...considering we have to built a mega computer or a farm of them. There are many other solutions that can do that. Maxwell have amazing quality, and for those who can afford 10000€ in hardware(5 or 6 computers with high end CPU) is pretty fast, the same to VRay, and others.
So well this is a wish list i shouldn't be posting this in here...but as someone said one mans trash is another mans treasure.
Sorry for my bad English
keep up with the great work.
Cheers

I would really like if they discontinued Standalone... like they say they would. Seriously, it's a waste of energy. Node editor, material editor, animation? common, this is present in host apps and most of the time much, much better than anything Otoy could pull out... I am really over redundant UI stuff that, on top of everything, usually sucks (in comparison)
Paul about UV mapping I think you are right, even sketchup allows minimal UVmapping, so in this I have to accept.
[47] camera animation (simple thing, like place camera 1, 2 and 3, and animate smooth)..inside octane...no export from other modeling software.
Again - why not just use one of the plugins - which all support camera animation?
[48] multilight...possibility to turn on and of light, or change intensity (similar to Maxwell)
Change intensity - is this not simply moving the power slider in the emission pin?
[50] bachrender...let a list of 2 or 3 views to render one after another
Most of the plugins support this (it is really just a subset of animation).
Uv mapping....basic at least...like artlantis software.
Already available in the 3ds, Maya, C4D and LW plugins (ie. the host app provides this function).
