So has anybody here, made any progress with SSS type skins themselves from my examples. I wonder? It's pretty easy to achieve. Anyway, don't be shy, please feel free to upload your examples as well.

currently running some renders with skin tones getting ready to do some animations.
In the next couple weeks hopefully all the stuff will arrive this week

xbox 360 kinect sensor should arrive this week I managed to pick up one off eBay second-hand to 35 quid.
This will hopefully then let me motion capture my face via kinect sensor.

Then I can use it to animate my models into speaking in moving and hopefully let's get some animation out there

I'm not done any animation since 2010 when I won a copy of poser from Smith Micro's from my animation
which took me six weeks to animate.

Does anybody here have any experience with bvh files or done any sort animation on that respect I would like to hear from you any hints any tips would be greatly appreciated

What I don't think a lot people realise that Microsoft Xbox Kinect sensor, is literally a couple million-dollar R&D research project. And it can be used for a vast range of other products not just games.

It can definitely be used to catch of the motion of any person you can actually track up to 5 individuals people at one time.

it can also track eye movements.

make sure you watch at 1080 and full screen

Here's some animation I've done with the Kinect taking importing into poser and then render in octane Well here we go this took 17 hours to render 186 frames at a resolution of 3200x 2400 each frame approximately is taking six minutes: and 53 seconds to render.

NO Blinks of eyes they've made movement no hair movement. (There's also a few collisions where you will see part of the flash popping through when the model moves)

But again this can be painted out with photo shop frame by frame. I just left a basic background to render as well.

I took my movements from xbox 360 kinect sensor and applied it to the model. You actually miss the part where I fell on my ass trying to kick open an imaginary door.

It's a shame was nowhere else in the room to video it would have been quite amusing.

back in 2009 I did a small animation which is one minute and 1:36 seconds long that took me six weeks, to animate
