I don't think that it is a bug. Maybe only a bad naming of the field that should imho display Transmission instead of Diffuse.

In fact, I noticed in the past that when calling a type other than default for a parameter, the name of the new type replaced the name of the function, but this problem seemed to be fixed a long time ago...

For most parameters there are several ways of adjusting the values. One of these ways, for example for specularity is adjustment per color. It is useful for example for gold material : you can set the color of the material to black and the specularity to gold with high values.
French Blender user - CPU : intel Quad QX9650 at 3GHz - 8GB of RAM - Windows 7 Pro 64 bits. Display GPU : GeForce GTX 480 (2 Samsung 2443BW-1920x1600 monitors). External GPUs : two EVGA GTX 580 3GB in a Cubix GPU-Xpander Pro 2. NVidia Driver : 368.22.

if the Diffuse and the Transmission are same parameter on the SPECULAR material then it's confuse me cos I see both Diffuse and Transmission in the DIFFUSE type material parameter....

in term of a user .... I think this should be fix.... 8-)

not easy to do in the shader transmission and sss to Glossy Material? Why do so many actions in mix material

if you create a lot of shaders in the scene, there is formed a lot of garbage
