I'm getting a very visible seam with dual GPUs. Right down the middle of the scene. Is there a trick to getting rid of this?

this is with pathtracing only ?
and filtering off ?

We're aware of it, afaik i'm working on it right now.

i can reproduce it with pathtracing, not directlighting.
and, i can reproduce it always with filtering which is normal and we won't fix. (we will instead remove it and replace this with a better system in 2.3)

Actually there was no textures, white walls, white floor diffuse materials , and there is no OCS file, only OBJ manually imported. Pathtracing.

Don't know if this has been reported yet but the inverse map for opacity doesn't seem to work, the state changes but it has no effect.

Edit:The change is not applied immediately, changing direct lighting <> path tracing applies the changes.

I'll try to not sound insolent, but i think it is the time to put a "stable" 2.2 demo for all users on the way.
You have so much input to change something what everybody like.
I'll want you to bother with discussion about alpha vs. beta software, but I would like to see RC 3 or RC 4 of 2.2before you go up to 2.3.

I guess it will have been solved, but as already reported mib2berlin I can confirm that fails when change the state of smooth, it only works when you switch between directlight and pathtracing.

Hi,

we're doing our best to provide a solid RC3.
That one will be the last, we really need to focus on the next stuff.
Offcourse if it has any remaining major issues we will not make it final and provide an RC4.

We've got several reviewers awaiting the 2.2 final.
After all it's still a beta.
