Just installed 344.75 driver and the speed is back to what 2.12.1 was - or even faster

195 ms/s ! 780 rocks :)

PS. Bulwerk - but temps during rendering.... Do you have it on air?

Grimm,

could you set path term power to 1 for PT, coherent on, alpha shadows off, and send the results?
Hi Smicha,

I'm getting about 12.6 Ms/sec with the power term set to 1. It's hard to tell though, as mine was bouncing from 11.8 to 13.4.

Setting the power term to 1 with PMC really improved the time as well. 5.09 Ms/sec now for PMC.

Temps are on water. And range from 43-45C between the 4 cards.

I'm on the latest Linux drivers 343.22, I looked for a later version but didn't find any. Maybe it's not out yet for Linux?

I am also curious about this machine. Man, you need lots of rads to cool it down. 2x480+1x360 at least. For better water temps even 4x480 or 4x560. Can't wait to see it :)

I would also be very interested in hearing about the intended PSU set up.

Nice to see OTOY'S devs made such performance bump with Maxwell on Maxwell cards! =)
