Hi. Octane 4 constantly crashes
it is not possible to work. It works in LV, but when i start full render 9 tries of 10 it will be crash. Is the problem in the main application or in integration? With simple scene it works normal and v.3.08 do not produces crashes.

Hey Aoktar,
Thankyou for your amazing work. I love everything about these new releases!
I've been having some issues with RC4 and RC4-R2 though that I didn't have with previous versions.
2x 1080ti's
C4D R17.055
Latest NVIDIA Drivers.
Started getting these errors when it tries loading a new frame:
CUDA error 700 on device 0: an illegal memory access was encountered
CUDA error 700 on device 1: an illegal memory access was encountered
-> failed to download symbol(stats data)
-> failed to copy memory to device.
device 0: path tracing kernel failed
device 1: failed to copy mesh to device
If you could point me in the right direction to a solution that would be amazing!
Thanks for your continued hard work.
EDIT: On ORC I get the same error - so it seems to be scene related... Hmm. I'll pm you the scenefile.
EDIT 2 : When removing the emissive diffuse material it seems to be able to render? I kind of need it for this scene, any way arround this?
Regards

I have just updated c4d R20 to it's newest build, it broke octane v4. No matter what I do I get a black rendering. tried with a plane, a cube, octane camera and an infinite light.. I's not scene dependent here. Was fine till 5 minutes ago.
EDIT: It fixed by itself afer restarting the computer. Don't know what was wrong.

Thank you for the scene. Ahmet and I have been trying to reproduce the issue. He could reproduce the render failure, I could not (i.e. here it renders fine on a 1080 and a TitanV). I gave him a build with more logging so we can investigate. One thing Ahmet found was that could actually render after he disabled the shader cache in the C4D OpenGL preferences. Maybe that might help in the meantime.divasoft wrote:Hi, i create for you Gdocs folder. Hi there.
Motion blur works as expected on the live viewer. But is not rendered when the scene is submitted to final output.
Working on C4D R20.
Sincerely,
