Hi guys,

sorry I didn't read this post.

The pack doesn't cost 200$ - it never did !!
where you got that from ? - for the pack with 26 surfaces I take €124,17 without tax.
Google says that's about 133 US-Dollar !!!
If you divide that with 26 it's 5,11$ per surface !!!

To make clear whats behind this thing:
People from all around the world frequently asking me how I do this, and they know what photogrammetry is. This is not the riddle here ;)
It's my special scan-workflow and the processing that I developed over long time with the invest of my personal money.
Actually the production of a single surface needs more than 20 hours of work with a total cost of about 1800$. As a costumer you get it for 5,11$ ...is this really a question here if this is fair priced?????

Take a look at the shop. You can use the link www.rd-textures.com
Smaller packs for 49€ are coming end of the week. Single maps maybe later.

So we'll have: - sand - soil - gravel - rocks - cobblestones
...rockwalls and bricks are next;
snow-pack as soon as the weather makes it possible here.

I got feedback from well known, highly competent artists and they all love it.

Please do go with individual option asap... around $15 each would rock... And please make that clean mulch I was talking about (somewhere near middle, for tweaking colors) and I will be the first in line for that one... make a kick-ass drystack wall set and I will be first for that too!

Hi Frank,

First there will be the smaller packs, each with 7 perfectly matching surfaces.
Maybe later single surfaces...and yes they would be around 15$

I've got a bark-mulch in the set, so I don't think I do another one very soon, but I keep that in mind ;) ...I know a perfect spot for it.

Rock-walls and bricks are in production at the moment. First scan is finished and tile-able, but I need to generate the "physical" maps, do corrections and normalize everything.....
It's not finished, but here's an example:

I think going to big-box hardware store and buying four bags of beautiful tan mulch, for a couple bucks a bag, and spreading on any flat surface would be the best bet... rather than driving around and trying to find a good.. er, I mean perfect, chunk of mulch in your town...

I don't see any dry-stack in those. Hopefully you could find a nice dry-stack wall locally and shoot the shit out of it...

Did I say that ??? No, I said rock- (or better stone-) and brick-walls.

If you looking for something special and you can't wait, feel free to order your exclusive production, but that costs more than 15$

Roger that. Didn't mean to come off as bossy. Those just happen to be the ones that I could really use. All good. I have pretty decent working versions I made in ZB and SP, but those obviously could not hold a candle to your stuff.

Understand - no prob. boss ;)

I respect any serious feedback, information, wish and inspiration and I promise I'll keep an eye on what you are looking for.
But honestly, I have to prioritize costumers who can achieve my product. Sure you understand that.

on the site, it says "micro surfaces" is one of the "coming soon" packs...any insight as to what your plan for that? as awesome as all of the rocks and bricks and stuff are, they don't really suit product rendering much :-p sounds like micro surface scans could be something that would be useful though.

Hi Subroutine49690,
I can only find Close ups.
Do you have renderings of a wall from the distance?
