We just installed some more GPU's on our 4 computers, the total is 16.
It is ridiculous that network rendering is limited to 12 GPU's since we PAID for 4 licences, we should be able to use all GPU's
I vote, unlimited GPU's 1 licence per slave.

If Network Render via Octane Render for Cinema 4D will correct working - it'll be perfect, but now we can't run this render...

I'm waiting for the news, too.
I've got 2 Combo Licenses (Standalone+3ds Max). Since I've got 3 workstations, each with 4 GPUs there is no more then 12 GPUs in total.
But I CAN't render on all of these because I've got only 2 licenses.
For me GPU limit should be attached to each OCTANE license and shoud be independent of render nodes,
so 12 workstations x 1 GPU should be treated the same as for example 2x6 GPU workstations.
That's fair in my opinion.
All Best,
raffaEl

The 12-gpu-limit is unreasonable. Even if someone has 2 licences and 2 x 12gpu workstations she/he cannot make use of them fully.
If on available motherboards (gamer or workstation or server class) we may have up to 8 graphics cards (16 gpus in 8 watercooled dual slot titans Z) the limit for a single licence shall be 16. And for any other licence the limit should scale linearly. If someone can afford 100 gpu network there should be an option to use them all.

How about no GPU limit and allowing to have more than 12 GPUs! (Which has been proven possible) Why hinder your own software? A V-Ray render farm can outperform Octane any day. If any amount of GPUs are limited I think render nodes should be free and unlimited.

My Company have 5 Licenses ( C4D + STD )
3 Licenses Use for Worker (Every Computer have 2GPU)
2 Licenses Use for Network Render ( 4GPU + 4GPU)
Not Bad current licensing system.
But Want Cloud License(Want Unlimited RenderNode & GPU)
3 Licenses Use for Worker (Every Computer have 2GPU)
2 Licenses Use for Network Render ( 4GPU + 4GPU)
Not Bad current licensing system.
